Thank you everyone for a good month of blogging. I am very new at this, but the response and traffic has been very encouraging. Not sure how much info I should divulge, but we had almost 20,000 hits in a 48 hour period a little while ago and I thank each and everyone for reading.
Go back and read the first two installments of Dammit Bael! (part 2) She is really good at writing, much better than me. Her perspective as someone new to both DayZ (we are all) and FPS’s is very refreshing to a grizzled old vet like me.
I have another much bigger DayZ project in the works that needs your help. There is also a little donate button there, but that is all I am going to say about that. I will not rely on donations to keep this thing going, I only have a minimal amount of ads, I hope you can find a good deal on a product you like. If I can get a couple good sponsors here it will help things. I am going to start doing more reviews of software and hardware here. I promise you right now I will only give a fair and honest review, you will need to decide if that thing is for you or not.
About that new project, it is not put together completely but is in testing right now. All my loyal readers that made it far in this update post please go click on the Clans button. That takes you to the new site. Register, make a group/clan and customize it, or join a clan. Every private group can invite people including by email. There are lots of widgets and toys you will be able to use in the future. I am really excited about what this means for DayZ. The goal is to let the big clans have a central place to recruit and for the small groups to have a place to call their own.
The new site is not ready for prime-time yet, but you can go get started now, just be patient with the bug please. Let me know if you have ideas for changes or updates.
